I deliver staff development programmes, which engage and inspire, and deliver long-lasting results.

For reasons of time and commitment, some of my clients use me solely to accompany and compliment their existing training plans with my workshops. Others involve me in the full learning cycle, including the development, delivery and follow-up of their wider training plans. I call this 'The Full Monty' approach and there are 3 distinct stages.


The Full Monty:

1) Pre-Delivery:

• I work closely with my clients to assess their learning needs both in terms of topic and delivery style, so that I can design bespoke programmes, which specifically target the challenges they are facing. These programmes may include a mix of group workshops, as well as individual coaching sessions.

The more thorough the pre-delivery work, the better-prepared and engaged participants will be, because they approach the development work with enthusiasm and expectation. Knowing a development programme has been crafted especially for you makes a big difference to how you will feel about that programme. It's certainly a more productive start to your long-term development than giving up your valuable time to attend a generic programme, which you've been told to attend by your manager!


2) Delivery:

• My delivery style and content contain a blend of humour, interactive exercises, discussion and reflection. In each of my sessions, there is a focus on participants taking away a range of 'bigger picture ideas' requiring further development, as well as 'every-day' tips which they can immediately put into practice.

The vast majority of my work is delivered in person, with a small number of clients opting for video-conference and skype due to geography. I am used to working with people on an individual basis, as well as small groups of people (2-10), medium sized groups of people (10-20), and large groups of people, (20+). To date, the biggest group I have worked with is 120 Senior Managers on a leadership day for the N.H.S.


3) Post-Delivery:

• A follow-up process is crucial if you want lasting results. Even if the content is ground-breaking and the trainer is inspiring, most people, naturally forget the vast majority of what they've learned from the book they've just read, or the training session they've just attended, and they will quickly return to their old habits amidst the challenges and demands of daily life. In order to embed new ideas and behaviours for the long-term, there must be a structured follow-up process.

I deliver a bespoke follow-up programme, which is designed according to my client's needs. These include concise coaching sessions for groups and individuals, as well as shorter revision workshops and reflective interviews and questionnaires.
